"Expert Council" unites the most respectful and experienced lawyers practicing in various fields of Law in Ukraine, chosen by the editors office. We are glad to announce that Aminat Suleymanova, Managing Partner of AGA Partnes Law Firm, became a member of "family law Expert Council". November 17-19 of 2009 On November 17-19th, 2009, in Geneva, Switzerland, there was held the seventh annual conference Global Grain 2009, a top event in the commodity trading industry. This year AGA Partners was represented by Managing Partner Aminat Suleymanova. About 700 delegates from 50 countries took part in the forum. October 4-7 of 2009 On October 4-7th, 2009, in Madrid, Spain, there was held the annual conference of the International Bar Association. Various seminars, work sessions and presentations were held during this top event of the legal world. Particularly, on October 5th, 2009 the seminar The Brussels II Regulation, jurisdictions and conflicts of laws was held and Aminat Suleymanova, Managing Partner of AGA Partners was invited to take part in the abovementioned event. The seminar covered the issue of family law and was focused on the practical aspects of conflicts of laws and international litigation, as Aminat Suleymanova presented a paper on family law of Ukraine that received very positive feedback from the seminar audience. March 30 - April 1 of 2009 Aminat Suleymanova, the Managing Partner of AGA Partners, took part in the Grain Trading Conference-2009 in Egypt (March 30 - April 1, 2009, Sharm el Sheikh), organized by the Russian Grain Union and IA APK-Inform. The number of conference participants included about 300 persons. The geography of participants covered such countries as Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Libya and etc. March - April 2009 AGA Partners Law Firm was mentioned by Ukrainian Law Firms (A Handbook for Foreign Clients) 2008 edition in the list of the leading law firms at the Ukrainian market. High professionalism and excellent reputation of AGA Partners yet again allowed us to enter the top-five of leading Ukrainian law firms in such practice fields as Foreign Trade and International arbitration. Thanks to our colleagues and clients for the high appreciation of our work! 18-20th of November 2008 On November 18-20th, 2008, in Geneva, Switzerland, there was held the sixth annual conference Global Grain 2008, a top event in the commodity trading industry. About 500 delegates from 40 countries representing 300 companies took part in the forum. 26-27th of May 2008 The 7th International conference "Grain Forum-2008" has been held on May 26-27, 2008 in Yalta. The number of participants was about 300 persons from more than 20 countries. Aminat Suleymanova, Managing Partner of AGA Partners and Amina Varshavskaya, the Head of "AGA-Recruitment" Consulting Agency, took part in the work of the forum. On March 27, 2008 Ms. Amina Varshavskaya made a presentation on tendecies and perspectives of labor market in agricultural sector, which was highly appreciated by the participants of the event. May 2008 Aminat Suleymanova, Managing Partner of AGA Partners Law Firm, considering the results of the research of law edition "Yuridichna gazeta" "Lawyers of Ukraine. Client's choice 2008" was included into the 50 best lawyers of Ukraine. Representatives of law departments of 650 most perspective Ukrainian companies were choosing best lawyers. April 2008 In April, 2008 Aminat Suleymanova, Managing Partner of AGA Partners Law Firm was accepted to the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. The Academy was formed in 1986, inspired in part by the success of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an organisation founded in 1962 to improve the practice of law and administration of justice in the area of divorce and family law in the USA. The primary objective of the Academy is to improve international family law practice throughout the world. 21st of April 2008 On April 21st, 2008, in Kiev, Ukraine, there was held the First annual conference of corporate lawyers organised by Ukrainian Bar Association. Among participants and speakers of the Conference were leading lawyers of Ukraine, partners of law firms, heads of the juridical departments and services of authoritative companies, directors of the specialised centres and institutes. On March 27th Mrs. Aminat Suleymanova hold a seminar on legal aspects of trade with CIS countries. This seminar covered the issue of practical recommendations for maximal defense of dealings with CIS partners and prevention of unfair conduct in respect foreign partners. Participants of the Trading summit were traders, milling companies, inspection and transport companies, fumigation companies, banks, analytical agencies, industrial associations, state structures, Embassies, Chambers of Commerce and Industry from such countries and regions as Egypt, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the North Africa and Middle East and European Union. This International Conference covered the issues of grain trade between the CIS countries and the region of the North Africa - the Middle East. 13-14th of March 2008 AGA Partners - a partner of the III International Grain Conference. The Managing Partner Aminat Suleymanova and the Associated Partner Ivanna Dorichenko took part in the III International Grain Conference "Dynamic trading in the grain market. New opportunities in the Black Sea Region", which took place in Odessa on the 13-14th of March 2007 and had been organized by the International Grain and Feed Trade Association GAFTA and Ukrainian Grain Association. Law firm AGA Partners became a partner of mentioned conference. More than 250 participants from more than 20 countries took part in the Conference. The main issues of the Conference were the dynamic developments of the Black Sea Region in the world grain market, analysis of agricultural policies and stability in the region, appraisal of Ukrainian market perspectives and logistics development, new opportunities for the region in regard to the WTO and bioenergetics as well as new possibilities within the GTAS and new contractual liabilities.
